Show exhibitors at the Royal Alpaca Challenge are invited to bring their herdsires to the show to perform breedings. November is a great time to breed for fall cria, so we thought this would help everyone make the love connection a little easier. It is the responsibility of the herdsire's owner and their clients to coordinate all breeding schedules, contracts and fees. The herdsires or dams do not have to register in a class at the show, however you will need to have all dams and herdsires listed on the CVI with ARI numbers, microchip numbers and BVDV negative reports just like an alpaca registered for the show. If you do not have them listed on your health papers they will not be permitted on the show grounds. Appropriate stalling must also be purchased. Alpacas will not be permitted to stay on trailers. They may be stalled with registered show animals (3 adults per stall) or you may purchase a separate stall for them. The GAA or RAC will not be held responsible for any problems that arise as a result of any breeding that takes place during the show. As a result of signing the waver on the show registration form you acknowledge this. We are offering this breeding opportunity solely as a convenience to our exhibitors.

All Exhibitors bringing herdsires and dams for breeding must also fill out the form titled "love Lounge and Breeding information" on the show website (see below) or fill out the appropriate information during on-line registration. The show coordinators need to know the name and ARI number of all animals entering the show grounds prior to the show date.

While all exhibitors are welcome to bring a herdsire or dam for breeding during the show, The Love Lounge is an extra advertising bonus available for a small fee.
