Southern Hospitality at Check-In

If you check in early Friday, be sure to stay or return for the Sponsor Hour in the arena from 5:30-7:30 p.m. (see below for details)  It was a rocking good time in 2009, don't miss it this year....see below for details.

Sponsor Hour

Friday 5:30 -7:30 p.m.
The Royal Alpaca Challenge will host a Sponsor Hour with light appetizers,beer/wine and live blue grass music in the Arena on Friday to help you relax after check in.  We had a blast in 2009, and the food was spectacular...filet and colossal shrimp, free wine and beer...."That's right"! Try getting that at any other show!  No fee, it is courtesy of GAA to honor our sponsors...just bring your enthusiasm!

The Royal Alpaca Challenge Party

Join us on the Mezzanine in the arena for the  Royal Alpaca Challenge Party Saturday evening.  Free to all Exhibitors and Vendors. Entertainment, cash bar and a great way to network, meet new breeders and share stories about our beloved alpacas.

The Royal Knitting Lounge & educational fiber display

Comfy chairs invite you to “Sit & knit” for awhile.  Share ideas and spin a yarn or two. Fiber arts demonstrations will be offered throughout the show in the Carriage Room.  All local Atlanta and surrounding knitting and fiber arts guilds will be personally invited. A fiber education display will help newcomers to the world of alpacas better understand the fabulous characteristics of alpaca fiber that make camelid products superior to all others. We will take the visitors through the steps of processing fiber from shearing into a end product.
