"The GAA Fiber Connection" Booth

The GAA Fiber Connection is a resource for alpaca fiber enthusiasts in Georgia. We are here to connect them with you - the local alpaca farmer selling yarn, raw fiber, roving, batting and hand made alpaca products.

SOMETHING NEW! We appreciate our members, and to show it, we are NOT charging a 10% commission on products from our GAA members sold in “THE FIBER CONNECTION” booth at the Royal Alpaca Challenge. As an organization our ultimate goal is to help you make contacts, and help you sell your fiber products. The Royal Alpaca Challenge marketing team will be marketing to many fiber arts guilds, yarn shops and knitting groups in the Atlanta area and our hope is to help you make the connections you need to make sales to these fiber enthusiasts.

What do you need to do to enter products?

  1. Fill out the GAA FIBER CONNECTION form ( link to the downloadable form below)
  2. Make three copies, keep one, mail us one and hand one in with your products Friday at Check-in. (Mail the form to: The GAA Fiber Connection, 3095 Agape Drive, Blairsville, GA 30512)
  3. Everything must be double tagged.
  • Alpaca Yarn (each skien must be double tagged)
  • Raw Fiber (prime fleece only, placed cut (skin) side out in a bag with a picture of the alpaca it came from - double tagged)
  • Roving (4oz or 8oz bags - double tagged)
  • Batting (rolled in tissue paper, placed in bag and double tagged)
  • Hand Made Alpaca Products (Description of how product made and materials used - double tagged)

We also need Your help to make this work! We are doing our best to help you sell your products, but we need your help to do this. Make new friends and support the growth of alpaca fiber awareness among fiber enthusiasts in Georgia by becoming a volunteer in the GAA Fiber Connection booth.
